General Construction Labourer

About the role

Join a dynamic construction team in Calgary as a General Construction Labourer. You will work on a variety of site tasks, contributing to the successful delivery of residential and commercial projects while supporting a safe and environmentally‑friendly work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance, and clean up chemical spills.
• Remove rubble and debris from construction sites.

Required profile

• Physically demanding work; ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lb) repeatedly.
• Flexibility, reliability and strong teamwork.
• Willingness to relocate – relocation costs are covered by the employer.
• Availability for day, evening, morning and weekend shifts.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required; on‑the‑job training provided.
