About the role

MG DOORS LTD. is seeking a reliable Garage Door Installer to join our Edmonton team. This full‑time, permanent position involves installing and servicing residential and commercial garage doors while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Determine layout and installation procedures for each project.
• Measure, mark, and prepare guidelines for door installations.
• Prepare, organize, and maintain work materials and supplies.
• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
• Utilize hand and power tools to complete installations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.

Required profile

• Physically demanding work; ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Attention to detail and strong client focus.
• Dependable, organized, reliable, and a team player.
• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency with power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
