About the role

The Grocery Clerk works in a Foodland store in Komoka, delivering exceptional customer service and supporting store operations. This full‑time position involves handling stock, maintaining a clean environment, and assisting shoppers with their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Follow Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, health and safety policies.
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock according to inventory procedures.
• Provide superior customer service and promote featured products.
• Maintain back‑shop and retail floor cleanliness and presentation.
• Prepare customer orders and process department shrink as required.
• Participate in training junior staff and perform other duties as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Above‑average oral and written communication skills.
• Physical capability to lift up to 20 lb, stand for long periods, and perform bending, lifting, and reaching.
