Full‑Stack Software Developer – Remote

About the role

Join Fidelity’s technology team as a full‑stack Software Developer working 100% remotely. You will contribute to the modernization of core transfer‑agency and workflow systems while supporting a range of internet‑facing digital applications for Canadian investors.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy full‑stack applications for Fidelity Canada’s web properties.
• Collaborate with architects and other developers in scrum ceremonies to deliver high‑quality features.
• Maintain application security, write documentation, and support production releases.
• Identify improvement opportunities across systems and contribute to future‑state design.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience as a full‑stack developer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Front‑end: React, Angular, JavaScript, HTML/HTML5, XHTML, CSS/CSS3, jQuery.
• Back‑end: Java, Spring, Spring Boot, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Database: SQL, PL/SQL.
• DevOps and full SDLC lifecycle experience.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven solutions is a plus.
