Full-Time Store Associate – Retail Sales

About the role

Giant Tiger is seeking friendly, motivated individuals to join its store team in L'Assomption. As a Full‑Time Store Associate you will be the face of the store, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth checkout experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and assist shoppers with product inquiries.
• Accurately process transactions using electronic cash registers, mainline and self‑checkout stations.
• Replenish merchandise around the checkout area and maintain planograms, labels, and tickets.
• Execute markdowns, SKU changes, and hot‑selling item updates as needed.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy.
• Follow all policies for tobacco, lottery, health and safety, and loss prevention.
• Keep the checkout work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Operation of POS (point‑of‑sale) systems and electronic cash registers.
