Full-time Family Helper & Nanny – Permanent Position

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position supports a family in Vancouver by caring for children and maintaining the household when parents are away. The role combines child supervision, light housekeeping, and personal assistance in a non‑smoking home environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the parents' absence.
• Perform light cleaning, laundry, ironing, and press household linens.
• Shop for food and household supplies.
• Travel with the family, assisting with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• Discipline children according to parents' methods and support personal hygiene and social development.
• Organise games, outings, and educational activities.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• Transport children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
• Provide emotional support and help with homework.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to handle heavy loads up to 23 kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Clear criminal record, child abuse registry check, and ability to pass background screening.
• Flexibility, reliability, patience, and strong interpersonal communication.
