Full-Time Elementary Teacher

About the role

The Keewatin‑Patricia District School Board is seeking a dedicated Full‑Time Elementary Teacher for Sioux Narrows School. This permanent, onsite position involves teaching primary/junior or junior/intermediate students in a supportive northern‑Ontario community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess curriculum aligned with Ontario education standards.
• Create an inclusive, engaging classroom environment that supports diverse learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and support staff to enhance student achievement.
• Maintain accurate records, report cards and documentation as required.
• Participate in school events, professional development and board initiatives.

Required profile

• Ontario Teacher Certification with appropriate division qualifications (Primary/Junior or Junior/Intermediate).
• Relevant teaching experience; salary is adjusted based on QECO rating and experience.
• Ability to obtain a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check or Criminal Record and Judicial Matters Check.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion and the values of the ETFO collective agreement.
