Full-Stack Software Engineer - Node.js

About the role

We are a well‑structured, distributed software development agency based in Montreal, seeking an ambitious Full‑Stack Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. The role is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners and the engineering team to define, architect, and build backend and web interfaces, deploying multiple times a week in an Agile process.
• Lead new projects from concept through launch, produce wireframe mock‑ups, and run usability workshops to refine workflows.
• Ensure proper instrumentation to track user behavior and create automated tests.
• Design and maintain strong, scalable architectures for production services.
• Influence cross‑team initiatives and contribute to overall technical strategy.

Required profile

• Expert‑level experience with modern web technologies, especially React and Node.js.
• 3+ years building and supporting mission‑critical, user‑facing systems and designing REST APIs.
• Proficiency with complex codebases and source‑code control systems such as GitHub.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and fluent English.
