Full Stack Software Developer I

About the role

Join Intuit’s Center of Money team as a Full Stack Software Developer I and help build impactful financial‑technology products. You will work in a fast‑moving, customer‑obsessed environment, collaborating with experienced engineers across the full stack to deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and document high‑quality web software.
• Spend the majority of time (90%+) on hands‑on development and skill improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Resolve defects identified during QA, pre‑production, and production.
• Collaborate with product, QA/QE, and other engineering teams to meet sprint commitments.
• Follow established engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies such as stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 0–2 years of experience developing web, software, or mobile applications (including internships or academic projects).
• Foundational understanding of software engineering principles and object‑oriented programming.
• Basic knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and web services (REST preferred).
• Exposure to unit testing and testing fundamentals; TDD is a plus.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication skills and a positive, ownership‑driven attitude.
