About the role
Join the Front Office team at a world‑renowned Relais & Châteaux property on Vancouver Island’s spectacular west coast. As Front Office Supervisor you will support the Front Office Manager, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and help maintain the inn’s award‑winning service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver personalized guest service that exceeds Relais & Châteaux, AAA Diamond and Forbes standards.
- Act as a hands‑on supervisor, assisting team members during peak periods and handling guest concerns promptly.
- Participate in HR functions for the Front Office department, including training and development.
- Help design, implement and continuously improve operational systems for guest flow, staffing and supplies.
- Contribute to the department’s annual budget planning and monitoring.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of the Front Office and storage areas.
- Complete administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Required profile
- Strong commitment to hospitality excellence and sustainability practices.
- Ability to lead by example and foster a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Alignment with West Coast culture and the inn’s values of belonging and community.
Required skills
- Proficiency in front‑office software and reservation systems (explicitly mentioned in daily duties).
