About the role
As a Front‑End Engineer at Amazon, you will build user‑facing features for products used by millions of customers worldwide. You will collaborate with designers, product partners, and other engineers throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and improve front‑end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality user experiences.
- Translate feature specifications into maintainable, extensible code.
- Provide operational support, identify root causes, and resolve issues.
- Participate in code reviews, daily stand‑ups, and continuous improvement activities.
Required profile
- 18 years of age or older.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in at least one object‑oriented language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#).
- Solid understanding of computer‑science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and OO design.
- Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Web Development, HCI, or a related field.
