Front End Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Front End Developer to support the Marketing Channel Strategy team of a major bank. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining large‑scale digital and email campaigns, ensuring they render correctly across devices and browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Marketing Channel Strategy team with digital campaign design, publishing, user experience and digital sales.
• Make last‑minute art file changes using Adobe Photoshop, Figma and Sketch.
• Develop campaign creative using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS) for large‑scale email and authenticated campaigns.
• Troubleshoot and adjust problematic code from external vendors and provide constructive feedback.
• Execute quality‑control procedures and adhere to work‑back schedules.
• Manage lead times with marketing partners and stakeholders to ensure timely receipt of design and data assets.
• Improve digital campaign execution processes based on test results and learnings.
• Configure dynamic content elements to create personalized campaigns at scale.
• Perform initial quality assurance to verify logic and rendering across browsers and clients.
• Conduct competitive research and identify best practices for coding architecture and user experiences.
• Reference statistical evidence to provide design recommendations.
• Maintain positive relationships with business partners to foster collaboration.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for technical support and A/B testing capabilities.
• Stay current with marketing and design trends and share insights across departments.
• Monitor compliance with CASL, anti‑spam and privacy regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Front‑End Developer or similar role.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of email and web development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
