Front End Department Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Front End Department Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of the front‑end area in our Prince Albert store. You will be responsible for driving sales, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, and developing a high‑performing team that delivers excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Front End department.
• Achieve or exceed sales and profitability targets.
• Train and develop associates in customer service standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment for customers and staff.
• Manage departmental expenses and assist with budget preparation.
• Communicate regularly with store management and other department managers.
• Recruit and retain talent for the team.
• Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to improve productivity and engagement.
• Uphold merchandising and operational standards.
• Foster an inclusive workplace that values diversity.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Previous retail management experience, preferably in a departmental or specialty store.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
