Front End Clerk – All Purpose (Part‑Time)

About the role
Join Safeway as a Front End All‑Purpose Clerk in Vancouver. You will be the first point of contact for shoppers, ensuring a friendly experience while keeping the store well‑stocked and organized.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers politely and provide superior service.
- Process cash, cheque, credit, gift‑card and debit transactions at the register.
- Bag and cart merchandise, maintain clean checkout areas.
- Stock shelves with dairy, frozen, produce and non‑perishables.
- Build and rotate merchandise displays according to company standards.
- Load and unload products, manage back‑room inventory.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Store Manager.
Required profile
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong customer‑service orientation and teamwork mindset.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.
- Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
