Front Desk Agent – Full-Time

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our award‑winning boutique ski hotel in Rossland, BC. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless stay from check‑in to check‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and courteously.
• Handle reservations, promote package add‑ons and accurately record guest information.
• Process check‑in and check‑out, manage cash floats and other monetary transactions.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries with a positive attitude.
• Coordinate special requests with the appropriate departments.
• Maintain effective communication with all hotel teams.
• Support building security and safety procedures.
• Stay informed about room availability, layouts and rate plans.
• Work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and overnights.

Required profile

• Service‑oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
• Numerical accuracy, attention to detail and ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Professional appearance and presentation.
• Legal right to work in Canada (Canadian citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid open work permit).

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Experience with a Hotel Property Management System (PMS) – preferred.
