Front Desk Agent – Boutique Hotel in Montreal

About the role

We are looking for a friendly Front Desk Agent to join our boutique Hotel10 team in Montreal. Reporting to the Front Desk Supervisors, you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling reservations, check‑ins, check‑outs and providing local information while ensuring a memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and deliver courteous, personalized service.
• Manage room reservations by phone and online platforms.
• Perform efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Answer guest inquiries and provide details about hotel services and amenities.
• Recommend local attractions, activities, and services throughout Montreal.
• Maintain accurate guest records and financial transactions in the property management system.
• Process payments and follow cash‑handling procedures.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members as needed.
• Support front desk operations with additional duties as required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Hotel Reception or Hospitality, or at least one year of front‑desk experience in a hotel.
• Fluent in both French and English, spoken and written.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer‑service skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Reliable, detail‑oriented and well‑organized.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
