Fresh Coach – Store Management Role

About the role

The Fresh Coach is a member of the store management team responsible for driving profitable sales and delivering an excellent customer experience in the Fresh department. This full‑time position reports to the Store Manager and works closely with department managers and hourly associates. The role involves overseeing merchandising, budgeting, safety, and community engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sales and financial reports to identify market trends, control expenditures, and communicate results to associates.
• Develop and execute operational plans with the management team, ensuring optimal merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, and compliance with company policies.
• Implement and monitor asset protection, safety, and quality assurance controls, responding proactively to compliance issues.
• Lead and develop hourly associates through regular meetings, performance feedback, and training to foster engagement and professional growth.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including oversight of up to $250,000 in daily transactions.
• Support community initiatives by participating in local events and building relationships with community groups.

Required profile

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Ability to work full‑time in an onsite retail environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide a diverse team.
