French Immersion Grade 5/6 Teacher (50% Term)

About the role

The Winnipeg School Division is seeking a qualified teacher to deliver French Immersion instruction for Grade 5/6 students on a 50% term basis. The position runs from early September to mid‑December, with alternating day schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver French Immersion curriculum for Grade 5 and Grade 6 classes.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback in both French and English.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment.
• Maintain classroom records and adhere to school policies, including safety and child protection protocols.

Required profile

• Valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
• Commitment to equity, inclusion, and the Employment Equity policy of the division.
• Willingness to undergo a Child Abuse Registry check and Police Information Check.
