Framer Helper – Construction

About the role

Skyscrapers Construction Ltd is seeking a reliable Framer Helper to support a variety of construction projects in Winnipeg. This full‑time, permanent position involves hands‑on work on residential, commercial and institutional sites, with a focus on framing, formwork and site preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials safely.
• Perform pre‑operational inspections of equipment.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt and related materials.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Level earth to fine‑grade specifications.
• Support demolition activities and clean up salvaged materials.
• Maintain the site by removing rubble, debris and handling chemical spills.
• Direct traffic around construction zones as required.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Reliability, flexibility and a strong team‑oriented attitude.
• Availability for shift or on‑call work and overtime.
