Forward Deployed Solutions Lead - Agentic AI & Azure

About the role

Accenture Data & AI is hiring a Forward Deployed Solutions Lead (AI/ML Computational Science Manager, senior level, full time) to design, build and support enterprise Agentic AI solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role works across AI agents, data, APIs, cloud infrastructure, security, networking and DevOps, from design and development through deployment and production support. It is hybrid and open to several locations in Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy and support enterprise Agentic AI solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop AI agents using Microsoft Foundry/Azure AI services and Copilot Studio.
• Build and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and tools, connecting agents to enterprise apps, APIs, operational systems and data sources.
• Use Microsoft Fabric for data integration, engineering, analytics and AI-enabled solutions.
• Implement API integration patterns with Azure API Management and build secure, containerized applications with Docker and Azure Container Registry.
• Implement identity and security patterns with Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities and Azure Key Vault.
• Work with Azure VNets, private endpoints, DNS, routing and firewall controls.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, and implement logging, monitoring, observability and production support.
• Troubleshoot issues across AI, application, API, data, identity, network, container and Azure layers, and lead design, whiteboarding, troubleshooting and knowledge-transfer sessions with client teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on software development experience, particularly with Python.
• Minimum 8 years designing and delivering solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing Generative AI and/or Agentic AI applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Foundry/Azure AI services, Copilot Studio or similar enterprise AI platforms, and with AI agent orchestration, grounding and tool-calling.
• Strong API development and integration experience, including REST APIs and Azure API Management.
• Good understanding of Azure networking and experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Managed Identities and Azure Key Vault.
• CI/CD with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub, and strong problem-solving and client-facing skills.
• English is required, as the role interacts regularly with stakeholders across Canada, the US and other countries.

Compensation is listed as an hourly salary range of $52.31 to $105.96 depending on province (British Columbia, Ontario, New Brunswick, Quebec, Alberta).
