Food Store Manager – Retail Operations Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Food Store Manager to lead daily operations at Uncle Fatih's Pizza Broadway in Vancouver. The role combines operational oversight, staff leadership, and market‑driven merchandising to ensure a high‑quality customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control daily store operations, evaluating performance and implementing improvements.
• Plan, organize, and schedule staff duties, ensuring appropriate coverage for all shifts.
• Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and adjust merchandise and services accordingly.
• Set pricing and credit policies, procure merchandise for resale, and develop marketing strategies.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, track revenues and expenses, and manage payroll administration.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, and conduct performance reviews for staff and volunteers.
• Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly.

Required profile

• College‑level certificate or diploma (3 months to less than 1 year).
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience managing a retail or food‑service operation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, mornings, nights, weekends, and on‑call shifts.
• Ability to handle budgeting, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
