Food Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Food Store Manager to lead our Vancouver location, overseeing all aspects of daily store operations, staff management and customer experience. The role combines operational oversight with strategic merchandising and market analysis to drive sales and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Evaluate performance metrics and adjust processes to improve efficiency.
• Plan, organize and schedule staff shifts, assign duties and conduct performance reviews.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to determine product mix and pricing strategies.
• Procure merchandise, manage inventory levels and implement pricing and credit policies.
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives, monitor budgets and control expenses.

Required profile

• College or CEGEP certificate/diploma (3 months to less than 1 year) in a related field.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience managing a food retail or restaurant operation.
• Ability to handle customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
• Experience with payroll administration and staff recruitment.
