Food Service Team Member – Sushi Chef

About the role

Join Bento’s fast‑paced restaurant team at the Loblaws location in Quebec. As a Food Service Team Member specializing in sushi, you will help deliver an authentic Japanese dining experience to guests while working in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and measure ingredients for sushi, salads, rice bowls and other menu items.
• Assemble sushi rolls and other dishes according to recipe standards.
• Answer customer questions, provide recommendations, and ensure a friendly service experience.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with any additional tasks needed for smooth restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the food service industry; sushi preparation experience is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 15 kg (33 lb) and stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
