Food Service Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Food Service Supervisor to lead our restaurant team at Wendy's in Saint John. In this role you will ensure smooth daily operations, high‑quality food preparation, and excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish methods and work schedules to meet operational demands.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Hire and onboard food‑service staff.
• Ensure food and service meet quality‑control standards.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit operational reports.

Required profile

• College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate/diploma (3 months to < 1 year).
• 1–2 years of experience in food‑service or restaurant supervision.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and under pressure.
