About the role
We are looking for a reliable labourer to join our meat processing and packaging plant in Calgary. The position supports food safety, operates and cleans processing equipment, and handles heavy loads in a fast‑paced, hot environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform food safety and handling tasks.
- Feed and unload processing machines.
- Clean machines and immediate work areas.
- Handle heavy loads up to 23 kg.
- Carry out repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.
- Work under pressure in a fast‑paced setting.
Required profile
- No prior experience required; training provided.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch, kneel and lift up to 23 kg.
- Reliability and strong teamwork.
- Willingness to work early mornings and overtime.
- Comfortable working in a hot environment.
