Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled, detail‑oriented Financial Controller to own and lead our financial operations while supporting strategic decision‑making as the business expands. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with the leadership team to provide financial insight, clarity, and operational discipline in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with ASPE and present reporting packages to the CEO.
• Manage core accounting functions including AR/AP, payroll, adjusting journal entries, month‑end close, and related reconciliations.
• Plan and monitor cash flow to ensure sufficient liquidity for day‑to‑day operations.
• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and scenario‑planning processes.
• Develop and implement scalable financial processes, internal controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and corporate policies.
• Oversee finance‑related software tools and collaborate on system automation and integration.
• Maintain the HR platform (Rise), ensuring accurate payroll, benefits, onboarding, and off‑boarding data.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in financial control and reporting.
• Proven ability to work hands‑on in a dynamic, growth‑focused organization.
• Direct reporting experience to senior leadership, preferably a CEO.
