Financial Controller

About the role

The Coaching Studio is seeking a Controller to own the financial engine of the business. Reporting to the Studio President, you will ensure clear visibility of performance and support data‑driven decisions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day financial operations: month‑end close, financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll preparation, and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Maintain financial controls, tax filing, and compliance while managing the external bookkeeper and coordinating with accounting, tax, and audit partners.
• Support budgeting processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Build and maintain financial dashboards, track utilization and capacity, monitor project profitability, and provide insights on trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Own and continuously improve financial systems and reporting tools to ensure data integrity and visibility across contracts and projects.
• Partner with leadership on annual planning, forecasting, growth scenario modeling, and strategic investment analysis.
