About the role
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Financial Reporting team of a leading North American energy infrastructure company. The role focuses on quarterly and annual financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvement in a collaborative corporate environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of Quarterly and Annual Management's Discussion & Analysis (MD&A).
- Prepare financial statement support schedules, working papers, and reconcile financial data.
- Coordinate with business units to gather financial information and analysis.
- Support external audit requirements by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries.
- Develop and maintain Excel models for reporting and compliance activities.
- Assist in preparing pension plan financial statements and regulatory reports.
- Identify and implement improvements to financial reporting processes and workflows.
- Participate in ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting or financial reporting experience.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
