Financial Analyst – Global Reporting

About the role

Brookfield Asset Management is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Global Financial Reporting team in downtown Toronto. This full‑time position offers exposure to consolidated reporting, audit support, and strategic analysis within a leading global asset manager.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and public documents on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Produce analyses and reports for senior management, including operating metrics and corporate financial results.
• Support internal and external audit teams, quarterly reviews, the annual audit, and SOX compliance.
• Assist in forecasting, tracking global operating results, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Identify efficiencies in processes, tools, and reports; contribute to due‑diligence, ad‑hoc analyses, and special projects.
• Support the quarterly valuation process, reviewing models and long‑term assumptions.

Required profile

• University degree in Business or Finance.
• Completed or in‑progress CPA designation.
• 1‑3 years of progressive finance or accounting experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics.
• Familiarity with HFM, OneStream, and Workiva.
