Field Technician – Mobility & Accessibility Equipment

About the role

Join National Seating & Mobility as a Field Technician and help restore independence to children, adults, and seniors. You will work hands‑on in customers' homes and healthcare facilities across the Vancouver area, installing and servicing a variety of mobility and accessibility equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver, install, and service wheelchairs, ceiling lifts, stairlifts, ramps, hospital beds, walkers and related equipment.
• Assemble, adjust, troubleshoot, and repair equipment using hand and power tools.
• Teach customers and caregivers safe operation of installed devices.
• Complete documentation and upload records for each wheelchair setup.
• Assist with warehouse and rental‑equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal solutions.
• Build strong relationships with customers through outstanding service.
• Perform other duties such as inventory management as needed.

Required profile

• Strong mechanical aptitude and love for fixing things.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team.
• Organized, dependable, and enjoy meeting new people.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to lift up to 75 lb.
• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Experience with medical equipment is a plus but not required.
