Field Service Technician II – Remote (Quebec)

About the role

Leica Biosystems is seeking a Field Service Technician II to provide on‑site installation, maintenance and repair of its diagnostic equipment for customers across Quebec. The position is based in Montreal and works remotely, supporting a range of mechanical, electro‑mechanical, electronic and refrigeration instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and calibrate diagnostic instruments at customer locations.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Repair mechanical, electro‑mechanical, electronic and refrigeration components.
• Document service activities in compliance with Health Canada, FDA and company policies.
• Provide training and technical support to customers and communicate status updates to internal teams.

Required profile

• Associate degree, college diploma or undergraduate degree in Electronics, Mechanical or Robotics Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience repairing and maintaining electronic, electro‑mechanical or refrigeration instruments.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
• Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel within the region.
