Field Service Millwright – Saskatchewan

About the role

Sandvik Mining is looking for a skilled Field Service Millwright to support surface and underground mining equipment across Saskatchewan and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical components, as well as commissioning new machinery at customer sites.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect equipment, diagnose faults, and determine corrective actions.
• Adjust, repair, or replace defective parts and systems according to work orders.
• Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation.
• Commission new equipment and provide on‑site training.
• Complete accurate time records, technical reports, failure reports, and parts lists.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives and adhere to safety policies.

Required profile

• Red Seal Millwright certification (or equivalent) – required at many sites.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with heavy‑equipment maintenance, preferably in mining.
• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
