Field Engineer – Geotechnical Site Investigation

About the role

Join ConeTec, a leading geo‑environmental and geotechnical contractor, as a Field Engineer. You will support safe, efficient, and accurate site investigations across diverse North American projects, gaining hands‑on experience with heavy machinery and advanced geotechnical instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CPTu, VST, sampling systems, and various geophysical instruments in compliance with safety standards.
• Become certified to run drilling equipment and other in‑situ testing tools.
• Plan and execute equipment mobilization and demobilization in remote or hard‑to‑access locations.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Collect, log, and submit field data, samples, notes, and photos for engineering review.
• Prepare comprehensive field reports for clients and internal teams.
