Field Attendant – Casual (Sports & Events)

About the role

The Field Attendant supports Athletics and Recreation by keeping event areas clean, safe, and ready for use. Working under the supervision of the Children’s Programming and Internal Events Assistant Manager, you will help prepare and restore facilities for sports and other campus events.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general housekeeping in Molson Stadium and Currie Gymnasium, including floor washing, corridor cleaning, and restroom upkeep.
• Stock washrooms with necessary supplies and ensure emergency exits are clear, especially during winter snow removal.
• Unlock and secure buildings, gates, and parking areas to facilitate client and participant access.
• Monitor facility functions during operating hours and report equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Receive deliveries, store supplies or equipment properly, and coordinate with internal and external service providers.
• Verify completed minor repairs and perform basic maintenance on grounds equipment.
• Set up, dismantle, store, and organize equipment used for sports and events.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in a similar environment (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to learn quickly, multitask, and work independently.
• Well‑organized with strong attention to detail.
• Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
