Fast Food Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Fast Food Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Campbell River location. The role involves overseeing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, and managing financial and inventory responsibilities in a fast‑paced rural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine service offerings and implement operational procedures.
• Balance cash, complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms.
• Conduct performance reviews and supervise more than 20 team members.
• Organise and maintain inventory while controlling costs of products and services.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are consistently followed.
• Negotiate with suppliers and clients for food, catering and other supplies.
• Participate in marketing plans and address customer complaints.
• Plan, organise, direct, control and evaluate daily restaurant operations.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma) or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience managing a fast‑food or similar food‑service operation.
• Proven ability to supervise a team of 20+ employees and manage a budget of $100 k–$500 k.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability and a client‑focused mindset.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and overtime as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Access.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows).
