About the role
The Family Preservation Worker supports family and community functioning to enhance the safety and well‑being of children and youth at risk. This position is part of the Kanukwa7staliha Family Services Program and is based in Lillooet, British Columbia.
Key responsibilities
- Provide prevention and early intervention programming support.
- Work individually and as part of a team.
- Maintain records, file maintenance, and reporting.
Required profile
- 2‑year college diploma in Child & Family or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- Knowledge of St’át’imc culture and ability to work with Aboriginal people.
- Willingness to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
