Family Physician

About the role

The Family Physician will deliver comprehensive primary‑care services to patients across British Columbia in a flexible, hybrid work model. This position is part of Terra Nova Medical Clinics, an award‑winning, multidisciplinary organization that supports physicians with modern clinic resources.

Key responsibilities

• Provide longitudinal, patient‑centered primary care to a diverse population.
• Utilise electronic medical records and virtual‑care platforms to document and manage patient encounters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within a technology‑enabled clinic environment.
• Uphold standards of equity, diversity, inclusion, and culturally safe care.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completed family medicine residency.
• Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia.
• Certification in family medicine (CCFP or equivalent) and good standing with professional bodies.
• Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and a patient‑focused approach.
• Commitment to trauma‑informed, culturally safe care; additional languages are an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Experience using virtual care platforms.
• Comfort working in a technology‑enabled clinic environment.
