Family Navigator

About the role

The Family Navigator provides essential support to families within the Edmonton community, coordinating services and acting as a liaison between clients and health‑care or social‑service agencies. This permanent, full‑time position focuses on delivering tailored assistance, resolving conflicts, and ensuring high‑quality case management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed reports and case histories for each client.
• Supervise support staff and oversee administrative tasks.
• Develop, coordinate and implement delivery of specific community services.
• Resolve conflict situations and mediate between families and service providers.
• Liaise with social‑service agencies and health‑care providers to ensure seamless support.

Required profile

• College or CEGEP diploma (1‑2 year program) in a relevant field.
• 2 to less than 3 years of experience in community service or similar roles.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal awareness, judgement, flexibility and team‑player attitude.
