About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Doctor to join our urban private‑practice clinic. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, supporting their health and wellbeing in a community‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other healthcare professionals.
• Examine patients to identify diseases, injuries, and health concerns.
• Help patients develop healthy habits and provide lifestyle counseling.
• Order laboratory tests, X‑rays, and other diagnostic procedures to guide treatment.
• Consult with other medical practitioners to assess physical and mental health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as appropriate.
• Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities.
• Coordinate and manage primary patient care, including acute care management.
• Provide counseling and support to patients and families on a wide range of health issues.

Required profile

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP) or equivalent.
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
• Experience in primary care is an asset.
