About the role
We are seeking a compassionate Family Caregiver to provide in‑home support for an elderly client in Edmonton. This permanent, full‑time position involves personal care, medication administration, and companionship to enhance the client’s quality of life.
Key responsibilities
- Administer bedside and personal care, including bathing, hygiene, and dressing.
- Provide medication assistance as prescribed.
- Assist with feeding, mobility, and regular exercise such as walking.
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, and laundry tasks.
- Offer companionship and emotional support throughout the day.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Reliability, punctuality, patience, and strong interpersonal communication.
- Flexibility to work mornings, days, and weekends as needed.
