Export/Import Bookings Manager

About the role

The Export/Import Bookings Manager is a full‑time remote position responsible for coordinating international shipment bookings. You will act as the central point of contact for clients, carriers and internal teams to secure cargo space, confirm schedules and ensure all documentation complies with global trade regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily export and import bookings, communicating with clients, carriers and internal stakeholders.
• Secure cargo space, confirm shipment schedules and monitor status throughout the transport lifecycle.
• Resolve issues, delays or documentation discrepancies to maintain on‑time delivery.
• Analyze booking trends and support sales and business planning initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of export operations, international trade regulations and cross‑border logistics.
• Experience in international business, freight forwarding or logistics services.
• Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Relevant post‑secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade or a related field is an asset.
