About the role

Join the vibrant team at Balkan, a fresh Mediterranean restaurant in the heart of Banff National Park. As an Expo/Host you will be the face of the restaurant, ensuring every guest enjoys a smooth and memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly, manage waitlists and answer inquiries.
• Present orders accurately and promptly to tables as an Expo.
• Maintain a clean and organized front‑of‑house environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen and service staff to coordinate service flow.
• Stay on your feet for full shifts, handling high‑energy periods with poise.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work varied hours.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team‑player mindset.
• Front‑of‑house experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided.
