Executive Director, Warehouse & Production

About the role

Michel Germain Parfums is seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead its warehouse, production and fulfillment operations at a facility located about 35 minutes outside Ottawa. This senior, hands‑on role focuses on building high‑performing teams, improving processes, and ensuring product quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse, production, fulfillment and related operational activities.
• Lead managers, supervisors and front‑line staff in a fast‑paced environment.
• Drive employee retention, coaching and engagement to foster an accountable, collaborative culture.
• Ensure order accuracy, on‑time shipping, inventory control, labour planning and production flow.
• Monitor operational KPIs, process improvement initiatives, workplace safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate cross‑functionally with procurement, logistics, sales, e‑commerce, regulatory and customer service teams.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse, production, distribution, manufacturing, fulfillment or supply‑chain operations.
• Proven ability to lead managers, supervisors and front‑line teams.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, inventory control and value‑added processing.
• Experience with hazardous materials management and Transportation of Dangerous Goods requirements.
• Background in consumer goods, beauty, cosmetics, fragrance or personal‑care environments is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Required skills

• ERP/WMS experience (required).
• NetSuite experience (strong asset).
