Evidence & Impact Analyst – Fall Prevention

About the role

The Evidence & Impact Analyst – Fall Prevention will lead evidence synthesis and economic evaluation of falls‑prevention strategies for older adults in British Columbia. The role supports the development of a community‑based, evidence‑based provincial plan that is financially sustainable.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct systematic literature searches across databases, grey literature, and expert sources.
• Identify knowledge gaps and synthesize findings on effective falls‑prevention interventions.
• Perform cost‑effectiveness, cost‑utility, and return‑on‑investment analyses.
• Assess implementation costs and health‑resource utilization.
• Manage and analyse large administrative and clinical datasets ensuring data quality.
• Prepare technical reports, peer‑reviewed manuscripts, and policy briefs.

Required profile

• Research Assistant/Technician level with experience in systematic reviews and health‑economic evaluation.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and health‑authority partners.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to data integrity.
