Evening Shift Pouch Operator (Full Time)

About the role

The Pouch Operator works the evening shift to set up and run pouch‑making machines that convert laminated films into high‑quality pouches. This full‑time position requires flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Set up machines according to job specifications, including stops, guides, and material requirements.
• Operate pouch machines, monitor line speeds, scrap rates, and set‑up times, and make adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Perform minor maintenance such as changing zipper cloth, dies, seal bars, and punches.
• Conduct quality tests (burst, drop, water‑table) and record results.
• Report maintenance needs, unsafe conditions, and production data to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist teammates with stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished boxes.
• Participate in changeovers, preventive maintenance, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
