Equipment Operator - Sewer & Watermain Construction

About the role

Clearway Group is seeking an Equipment Operator to join its sewer and watermain construction teams across the Lower Mainland. The role involves operating heavy equipment on a variety of infrastructure projects, supporting the company’s reputation for delivering complex construction assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 320‑349 sized excavators, 930‑950 sized wheel loaders and D3‑D8 sized bulldozers on job sites.
• Perform trenching, pipe‑laying, back‑filling and site restoration activities in accordance with project plans.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience operating water, sanitary or storm system equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Willingness to become a member of Operating Engineers Local 115.

Required skills

• Excavator operation (320‑349 size).
• Wheel loader operation (930‑950 size).
• Bulldozer operation (D3‑D8 size).
• Blueprint reading.
• Trenching, pipe‑laying and back‑filling techniques.
