About the role

The Cégep de Saint-Hyacinthe is seeking qualified nursing instructors for the Fall 2026 semester. All courses are delivered on‑site and involve a mix of theory, laboratory work, and clinical placements.

Key responsibilities

• Teach multiple groups of the 180‑CM1‑HY course (communication and care in medicine‑surgery I), representing roughly 40% of the workload.
• Teach multiple groups of the 180‑CM3‑HY course (care in medicine‑surgery III), representing roughly 20% of the workload.
• Teach multiple groups of the 180‑PE1‑HY course (perinatal, pediatric care and client education), representing roughly 10% of the workload.
• Participate in high‑fidelity clinical simulation labs and supervise student placements.

Required profile

• Relevant nursing qualification and teaching credentials.
• Experience in clinical practice and ability to convey theoretical concepts.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to student success.
• Willingness to work full‑time on campus, with possible joint appointments.
