Engineer I – Technology Solutions

About the role

TD is looking for an Engineer I to join its Technology Solutions team in Toronto. The role focuses on delivering engineering strategy, automating build‑test‑release pipelines and integrating tools across applications, platforms and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Leverage deep technology expertise to provide tools, processes and documentation for the organization.
• Execute engineering strategy for the introduction and automation of build, test, release and configuration activities.
• Partner with Operations to integrate automated, self‑serve release processes for applications, platforms and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with technology partners to identify synergies and apply best practices.
• Act as a lead innovator and change agent for engineering programs and services.
• Work with vendors and engineering peers to stay current on trends, products and frameworks.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and assess engineering requirements for non‑standard requests.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of engineering processes and best‑practice implementation.
• Ability to monitor and control costs within engineering projects.
• Experience interacting with governance, risk, compliance and audit groups.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills.
