Embedded UI Developer

About the role

dcbel is looking to hire an embedded UI developer to join its growing team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, improving, and maintaining firmware for its residential energy products. The role focuses on delivering user‑interface and networking applications for embedded Linux platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to build original graphical user interfaces for embedded Linux devices.
• Optimize applications for speed and responsiveness, troubleshooting issues based on user feedback.
• Develop networking applications that interface with dcbel’s cloud infrastructure.
• Promote good software‑engineering practices through design and code reviews.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong result orientation and emotional intelligence.
• Hobbyist interest in electronics or power electronics.
• Autonomous team player with strong problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Qt framework and QML for UI development on constrained embedded environments.
• Modern C++ programming on embedded Linux.
• Yocto‑based user‑space application development.
• DART language and/or Flutter framework (bonus).
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines (bonus).
• Version control with Git and public code contributions.
