Elementary School Tutor – West Toronto/Etobicoke

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic elementary school tutor to join our West Toronto and Etobicoke locations. The role involves delivering one‑on‑one, in‑person tutoring aligned with the Ontario curriculum for primary and junior students. You will help learners build confidence, improve grades, and develop strong study habits.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized, one‑on‑one tutoring sessions to primary and junior students, focusing on core subjects covered by the Ontario curriculum.
• Design and assign supplemental worksheets and practice activities that reinforce classroom learning and address individual gaps.
• Provide both remedial assistance for struggling learners and enrichment challenges for advanced students.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet evolving needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to discuss performance, goals, and any concerns.

Required profile

• Certified teachers in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers or qualified teacher candidates pursuing a B.Ed.
• Energetic, enthusiastic educators with prior classroom or tutoring experience who are committed to excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, comfortable interacting with students, families, and staff.
